Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Snap Pattern. They sit on top of the Ezysphere Terms of Service, which apply in full and which you should read as well. Where the two genuinely conflict, these Snap Pattern terms prevail - for Snap Pattern only, and only to the extent of the conflict.
1. Snap Pattern is for adults, and you may photograph only yourself. 2. The measurements are estimates, and a garment cut from them may not fit. 3. Points are not refundable once a measurement is unlocked. All three are explained below.

1. Age and who may use it
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use Snap Pattern. This is stricter than the general Ezysphere minimum age, and it is deliberate: the app processes photographs of a body, and we will not process a photograph of a minor.
1.2 By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or over. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete the associated data.
1.3 The app is for your own personal use, or the use of your own tailoring or dressmaking business, in either case measuring yourself.
2. Rules about photographs
2.1 You may photograph only yourself. You must not upload a photograph of any other person, whether or not they have agreed, and whether or not you are related to them.
2.2 You must never upload a photograph of a child or of any person under 18. This is an absolute prohibition. We will terminate any account used to do so, delete the data, and report the matter to the competent authorities where the law requires or permits it.
2.3 You must not upload a photograph that is sexually explicit, that depicts nudity beyond what the measurement process requires, that depicts another identifiable person in the background in a way that would intrude on their privacy, or that is otherwise unlawful.
2.4 You must not use the app to attempt to identify a person, to measure someone without their knowledge, or for surveillance, profiling or any purpose other than drafting a garment.
2.5 You are solely responsible for the photographs you supply and for having every right and permission needed to supply them. You indemnify Ezysphere in respect of any claim arising from a photograph you upload, in accordance with clause 19 of the Ezysphere Terms.
2.6 We do not retain your photographs - see the Snap Pattern Privacy Policy. That does not lessen your responsibility for what you send.
3. The measurements are estimates
Snap Pattern produces estimated measurements, not certified ones. It is not a substitute for a tape measure in the hands of someone who knows how to use one, and it is not a professional fitting service.
3.1 Expected accuracy. When both photographs read cleanly, typical error is around ±3.5%. Where the side photograph cannot be read, the app still returns a result, but depth is estimated from published adult population ratios rather than measured - typical error rises to around ±6%, an individual can sit well outside that, the confidence level drops, and a warning names the reason. These figures are typical, not guaranteed, and your result may be worse.
3.2 The result depends on you. Accuracy depends on things only you control: standing straight and still, the whole body being in frame, even lighting, a plain background, close-fitting clothing, and above all the reference object. Holding the reference object out towards the camera makes it image larger than it is and shrinks every measurement proportionally - this is the single largest avoidable source of error, which is why the app warns you about it and why your stated height exists as an independent cross-check.
3.3 Read the confidence level. Where the app labels a measurement as low confidence or raises a warning, that label is part of the result. Ignoring it is your decision and your risk.
3.4 Verify before you cut. You are responsible for checking the measurements - against a tape measure, a well-fitting existing garment, or a toile - before cutting fabric, ordering material, quoting a customer or making anything you cannot unmake.
3.5 Not for any health purpose. The app is not a medical device. Its output must not be used to assess, diagnose, monitor or treat any health condition, or for any fitness, nutritional or clinical purpose.
4. What you may do with a pattern
4.1 Patterns you draft are yours to sew. Ezysphere grants you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use any pattern you draft in Snap Pattern to make garments - for yourself, for other people, and including garments you sell commercially. You owe us nothing on what you make, and you do not have to credit us.
4.2 What you may not do is resell the pattern itself. You must not sell, license, publish, distribute or share the pattern files, drafts or PDFs as a product in their own right, whether individually, in a bundle, or as part of a pattern library, course or subscription. The distinction is simple: the garment is yours, the pattern file is licensed to you.
4.3 You must not use the app or its output to build, train, benchmark or seed a competing pattern-drafting product, dataset or service.
4.4 The drafting blocks, geometry, grading rules and the app itself remain the intellectual property of Ezysphere.
4.5 Printing a tiled pattern accurately depends on your printer being set to print at 100% with scaling switched off. Every export includes a test square. Measure the test square before cutting. We are not responsible for a pattern printed at the wrong scale.
5. Points, unlocks and payment
5.1 Snap Pattern uses points. A measurement session returns a free set of core measurements; unlocking the complete head-to-foot set spends points.
5.2 Once you unlock a measurement set, the points spent on it are used and are not refundable, because the full result is delivered to you at that moment. This does not affect your statutory rights, or your rights where we have charged you in error - see clause 11.4 of the Ezysphere Terms.
5.3 Points are bought through Paystack if you are billed in naira, or Flutterwave if you are billed in dollars, or through an app store where the app store requires it. Your card details are entered with the payment provider and never reach us.
5.4 Points are credited only after the provider confirms the payment, and the amount actually paid is checked against the amount quoted before any points are released. If a payment succeeds but points do not appear, contact apps@ezysphere.com with the payment reference and we will put it right.
5.5 Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and are otherwise governed by clause 10 of the Ezysphere Terms.
5.6 Prices, and the number of points a feature costs, may change. Where a change materially reduces the value of points you have already bought, we will give reasonable advance notice.
6. Anonymous sessions
6.1 Snap Pattern works without an account, using an anonymous session tied to your app installation. This is a privacy feature, and it has a consequence you should understand.
6.2 If you use an anonymous session and you uninstall the app, reset your device, or lose it, we may have no way to identify you as the owner of that session. Your measurements, patterns and any unspent points may be unrecoverable, and we may be unable to restore them or transfer them to a new device.
6.3 If you intend to buy points, create an account first. An account is the only reliable way to keep a paid balance across devices. We are not liable for points or data lost from an anonymous session in the circumstances described above.
7. Availability and limits
7.1 Measuring requires an internet connection and depends on our measurement engine being available.
7.2 The engine is rate-limited, and requests beyond the limit are refused until the limit resets. Where the engine has been idle it may take a short time to wake before the first measurement of a session completes.
7.3 There is a maximum accepted image size. Images above it are rejected rather than processed.
7.4 We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature in accordance with clause 16 of the Ezysphere Terms.
8. Liability
8.1 The disclaimers and limitations in clauses 9, 17 and 18 of the Ezysphere Terms apply in full to Snap Pattern.
8.2 In particular, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the cost of fabric, materials, printing, labour or rework wasted because a measurement was inaccurate, a pattern did not fit, or a pattern was printed at the wrong scale, nor for any loss you suffer or any claim made against you by a customer of yours in connection with a garment made using the app.
8.3 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without refund of points, where you breach clause 2 (rules about photographs), attempt to circumvent the paywall or rate limits, or otherwise materially breach these terms or the Ezysphere Terms. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you why.
10. Everything else
Licence, acceptable use, intellectual property, warranties, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law (Nigeria), dispute resolution, your consumer rights and all other general provisions are set out in the Ezysphere Terms of Service and apply to Snap Pattern in full. Privacy is covered by the Snap Pattern Privacy Policy and the Ezysphere Privacy Policy.
